I went to Pulitzer this Thursday. It was really touching and nice. I love the photos! I spent 3 hours inside. I LOVE IT! So, I picked up some favorite photos and share with you.
There are few principles inside. First is movement. The women leap to the man, and all the family are running. Second is the size and proportion. The gentle general is big while the young boy on the right is much smaller. Third is texture. They all wear different kinds of cloths.
Firstly, this is not harmonic at all. All objects are straight in this photo, such as man and woods. And also the man is dominance. He is in the center and he is the only human, alone. Of course, we can still see size and proportion in this picture; the woods are big in the front and small in the back.
Dominance is the flag pole and shows the movement. There is a one point perspective of the buildings. The value is lighter at the back of right building and deeper in the front. Also these people are different size depends on where they are. Unity: It was the day, American flag, a symbol of liberty, was used as a weapon of racial hatred.
The street is one point perspective in this photo. The road is repetition of squares. And also contains unity. This picture shows us how free they are and how lonely they are. In this rain day, so many people walks by, they are busy. Only he, the man claim he is true freedom, is free without any limitation.
In this picture, everyone looks different with special faces, carrying different package in mind. They are so unique that I love their faces. Some are lonely and some are strong. They all have sympathy for something. In their eyes I see the hope. Even though they are exhausted, they won’t quit until they make it! Fire Fighter!
Obama, a good speaker and a good leader, shows his sincerity and inspires people even it was raining. Resolute eyes showing strong will, straight body making powerful speech, looking far away delivering the vision. Without doubt, this is the moment of history and the vision of future. That’s all. No more words to describe.
